In this collection of works, the pixels are mapped to a planar surface and displayed in square or three-to-one compositions. The artworks are produced using a large format archival printer, introducing an enhanced image quality and finer details, as well as more accurate color processing. The compositions in this series are reminiscent of circuit boards, evoking his early paintings and drawings from the 1970s, which precede the use of computers.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]More works
Square Plane Square Cone (2007 – 2008)
Three to One (2005 – 2008)
Plotter drawings (1981 – 1994)
Works from 1990-92
Skew (1983-85)
Douat Dump (1981-82)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”14003,13988,13987,13986,13985,14004″ img_size=”medium” css_animation=”fade-up” css=”” slides_per_view=”4″ hover_effect=”opacity”][/vc_column][vc_column css_animation=”fade-up” width=”1/3″ shift_x=”0″ shift_y=”0″ z_index=”0″][vc_custom_heading text=”Recent works (2008 – 2010)” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=”” font_size=”16″ text_align=”left” font_weight=”600″][vc_column_text] Following on previous phases, Wilson uses his own software to map pixels from simple screen images onto various surfaces.
