Solitaire and Cheat Codes (2015-2017)
Inspired by the animation in Microsoft Windows’ Solitaire game from the 1990s, in which after winning a game the cards would bounce around the screen leaving a continuous trace. This iconic image (probably inspired by Walt Disney Studio’s animated film Alice in Wonderland from 1951) is recreated by the artist with different elements (money bills, Tesla cars, hearts, or cute dogs, among others) in a way that connects the computer culture from the early digital revolution with Post-Internet artistic practices.
